Emmanuel Women’s Ministries
Abounding in love…Growing in knowledge…Discerning what is best. Philippians 1:9-11.  Women’s Ministries’ purpose is to engage women in an ever growing relationship with Jesus Christ and others.  Women of all ages, in all seasons of life, have many opportunities to become connected in fellowship, fun and Bible study.

Opportunities for Fellowship and Fun
Whether you are a long time member of Emmanuel or have attended only one service, we extend an invitation, and want you to know that there’s room at our table for you!  The goal of our events is to encourage each woman to pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus and to promote relationships with other women.

Women’s Events
Christmas Bell, Lenten Hostess Dinner, Ladies Night Out, Bi-annual Retreats, Mother/Daughter, Son events, Craft Nights…. Contact Brenda at Brenda.Carruth@erc.la. 

The Annual Lenten Hostess Dinner is Monday, February 27 at 6:30pm. On this evening the women of Emmanuel Church and their friends share a meal around a table and take time to meditate on Christ and His Passion and to prepare hearts for Easter. Sign ups will be going on after each Sunday service.  Childcare is available with registration.

Opportunities for Bible Study

Bible study in small groups develops a deeper relationship with God, increases our knowledge of God’s Word and fosters friendship with other women.

Woman's Walk

Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:30. A midweek Bible Study for women of all ages on the topic of Miracles. Childcare provided.  Contact Stacy at 562.633.4589 or womanswalk@erc.la with any questions or to register.

Midweek Bible Studies and Prayer Groups

Sunday mornings: 10:30 am. Yvonne Zehnder is facilitating a group for women wanting to take their love relationship with Jesus deeper. Study meets in the Brick Building. Contact Yvonne at 562.634.8061.

Tuesday mornings: 9-11 am.  A midweek Bible Study for women of all ages doing the video based study by Beth Moore on the book of James. Childcare provided. Call Susan Saarloos to register or with questions at 562.430.5685. Study meets in the Brick Building. Materials cost $18.

Saturday mornings: 8:30am to 10:30am. “Not A Fan” by Kyle Idleman. Clyde Alexander is facilitating. Meeting now. Study meets in the Brick Building.
