Pat Adkins started attending Emmanuel Church at an early age. (As he puts it - Class of 1977) He's participated in groups from Jr. High through College at ERC. Pat is also a worship leader in the choir and meets with a group of men to study the bible and strengthen relationships with one another. Pat always says, "We are filled with God's love to be spilled onto others!" Helping to lead the basketball ministry is a passion for Pat. "We are not a YMCA", says Pat. We accept the players just as they are with hang ups, Tattoos and attitudes. By investing God's Love and Compassion to the players we plant seeds and after time it produces real change in their lives. Pat's been married since 1991 to his wife Kim who also sings in the choir and joins the coffee break ministry. They have two children Kaylee and Bo and a dog in progress named Dixie. |

Rich Castle and Paramount go together like bread and butter. Rich was raised in Paramount all his life and graduated from PHS. Rich served some years in the Army and is now an electrician. Rich had participated in the College group as a young man at ERC for several years. Rich is truly the Gentle Giant of the white shirt leaders being much bigger than most players. He's great with instructing the kids with the game and sharing God's love on and off the court. Rich still lives in Paramount and attends the Noon service at ERC. Rich has been happily married since 1991 to his wife Judy and they are blessed with five daughters.

Sharron Murphy is such a gift to the ATR ministry. Sharron was born in Lynwood, CA. She's has worked for her family business at Industrial Property for 30 years running. Sharron moved to Paramount in January of 2001, and started attending ERC that same year. In the spring of 2002 Sharron began serving ATR with her organizational skills creating a check-in process of players, uniform ordering and accounting of monies. Sharron is the first impression the players get when arriving at ATR with a friendly greeting and in most cases tries to remember their names. She has one daughter (Sasha) and six Grandchildren ( 5 boys & 1 girl ) We are truly blessed to have Sharron serve at ATR.
