We welcome you to the life and ministry of Emmanuel Church of Paramount. We are a Christian fellowship that has a lot more to learn then we do to teach. What we are all about is prayerfully and humbly trying to actually become followers of Jesus Christ.
His offer of forgiveness of our sins is so freeing. His call for us to forgive others is so challenging. His gift of eternal life is overwhelming, beautiful and free. His call for the transformation of our lives to become like His is so exciting and awe inspiring and it is also so hard. We invite you to join us on this journey.
If you join us, you will undoubtedly hear of our deep commitment to ministry in the city. For the past 30 years, God has allowed us to be a tool (among many) that helped Paramount become a beautiful city. We have now made a 40 year commitment to serve the city of Compton. If you join us, we will call upon you to love your city (wherever you live) and our city, which we now call Paramount/Compton.
Our prayer is that, over time, you would become deeply connected to Jesus, people and His mission here on earth. Our hope is that you'll discover how much your life matters, how you can be filled with inexpressible joy and how you were created to be a great gift of God to others.
