Dave Nearpass hails from Chicago and is serving as the Director of HSSM while he attends seminary at
Fuller. Dave just recently got married to Aubrey Nearpass. He has a heart for students of all ages. Dave enjoys basketball, surfing, reading, and eating. Being able to hang out with youth and serve the Lord through High School Student Ministries simply tickles him pink.
Arek O'Connell is currently serving as the HSSM intern. Arek is originally from Truckee, CA and the Lake Tahoe Area. He is currently finishing up his undergraduate work at Biola where he is majoring in Youth Ministry. Arek has a heart for students of all ages and feels called to help heal broken students. He enjoys sports, video games, hanging out with his Fiance, family, and friends and could not be more excited to be working with High School students.
Christina Jones is the Student Ministry Administrative Assistant. She works hard at keeping track of all of the details that go into a successful ministry while also taking time to personally invest in the lives of high school girls. Christina also works as a server at a restaurant in Burbank and enjoys hanging out with her family, reading, and watching movies. She has always said, “If I were a hot dog, I would eat myself."
