Pastor Martin was born in Tijuana, Mexico. At the age of 14, he moved to the United States. He attended Paramount high school and graduated in June of 1978.  He was always curious about God so he started going to a Jehovahs witness church with his sister but God had other plans for Martin and his family.  In 1981, Martin met his wife Carmen and they were married in 1981.  They have two beautiful daughters, Diana and Esther.  In 1990 Martin attended INTERNATIONAL THEOLOGY SEMINARY (I.T.S) and was ordained as a reformed Pastor. He grew with Pastor Harold Korver, who has been his spiritual coach.  Martin is now serving God as the Spanish Pastor at Emmanuel.
