God's Story

God's Story

There are different ways to articulate God's story.  These are some short, summary versions that some people have come up with that can be helpful to think about and learn.  What's most important is that you are telling the story of God's great love for us and how he made a way for us to follow him all our lives and into eternity.  These are some of my favorite outlines to that end.  - Bill

I really appreciate the "The Big Story Outline." That comment is coming from a former Navigator (a college ministry organization) who used the bridge all the time. I like how it shows that God is deeply concerned for us, the individual, but his dreams are much larger than we could imagine. God wants to redeem the entire earth. He has heard the cry of his people and He is actively making things right. Now that is a sweet story.

I have attended 3 12:oo noon services and I am totally enjoying myself. The theme just walk across the room has place such joy into my spirit everywhere I go everyone I meet I try to share a little joy. I left church Sunday I needed to get gas so I went to Costco and there were two young men directing traffic because the line where long at the gas pump. So I was sitting in my car waiting for my turn and I notice that one young man was walking around with a fown on his face, so I lend out my widows and told him to smile, because this is the day the Lord has made. He gave me a great big smile and thank me because he said he did not notice that he was walking around looking mad. After a few minute when my turn can to pump gas, guess who ask if he could service me. I thought that was so nice since I have never seen any of the costco gas pump attendant offer to assist anyone. I told him thank you because I just left church and it was very windy I did not want to wrestle with my dress and try to pump at the same time.(Smile) So I took this message to heart just walk across, or in my case just drive up.
