Emmanuel's Care Teams reach out and care for all of Emmanuel's congregation. We also care for the sick, hurting, and those lapsed in attendance, contacting people through notes, phone calls and visits. We pray for the congregation and for all prayer requests.
All of these ministries are volunteer based and we are always honored to have people join us.
ERC's Care Ministry is comprised of our Care Teams, the Hospital Visit Team, Transportation Team, Meals Team, New Birth Team, Grieving Team, and The Barnabas Team.
The Care Teams meet on Monday night from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. There is a Care Team for each service that prays for the requests from their service. They write notes of encouragement, send get well notes, make phone calls to connect to needs and make visits as needed.
The Hospital Visit Team is set up to make visits to members in the hospital or shut-ins.
The Transportation Team provides rides to doctor's visits.
The Meals Team provides meals to family of hospitalized members or members unable to prepare meals.
The New Birth Team is set up to visit families with new babies. To connect with Mom's health, offer support as needed.
The Grieving Team connects with families who have lost loved ones.
The Barnabas Team encourages those who have not been in attendance.
The Cookie Baking Team bakes the cookies that the Care Teams deliver to people we visit
