Bill White grew up in Virginia and went off to school at Williams College in Massachusetts where he invited a cute girl from California to join his bible study.  After college, he and Katy (who became a Christian in that bible study) went off to do missions work in Mexico City, where they got engaged.  They were married in 1992 and they’ve been at Emmanuel since 1997.  Katy works part time as a doctor in Compton, and Bill oversees Emmanuel’s Sunday mornings and its outreach ministries.  They have two kids, Timothy and Caris, whom they enjoy immensely.
