Player Shout Outs
Jahlon Wright:
I like playing at ATR because it's a safe place to play. The church has such a great vibe and I love the people involved with keeping it fun and active.
Michael Stripling:
Because I love to Hoop! They teach us to respect one another and that makes it much more different than at the parks or gyms. We all look out for each other here, and all the new people feel welcome at ATR.
Juan Valverde:
I like coming to ATR because it's a safe place to play ball. I've made a lot of friends coming to this league.
Brooke Karli:
At ATR we have a sense of community. All races come together and get along. It's a safe place to come and play and have a great time. The players are accepted as they are for who they are.
Christian Sanchez:
I like coming here to play B-Ball because everyone here is respectful and very positive. All the players get to play an even amount of time. No one gets left out on the team. The directors of the league really care about us as individuals and talk to everyone.
Andrew Tapia:
A very interactive league that's far better organized than what you get at the parks. Not only do you get great excercise, but the players really care about each other. Calling your own fouls is very different and helps keep everyone honest and in check.
Mike Lewis:
I live in Compton and play ball here because I enjoy the people and staff at ATR basketball. I like that it's an all race type of league. Everyone can have fun and still play hard and compete. I feel accepted and cared about as soon as I enter the courts.
